Laser Cutter, Masonite, Spray Paint

Here are a set of elephants manufactured across three scales. The smallest is 3D printed of plastic on a common 3D printer. Larger elephants are built of laser cut layers manually assembled with woodglue. The challenge with assembly of such a large and odd shape is alignment of layers. LuBan was used to generate the layers with an alignment key between layers. Each element is numbered and assigned a set of alignment keys.
